I created a series of online surveys at SurveyMonkey in relation to my major project, the development of the UWSMUG site to act as a source of support for staff and students using Apple products on campus at UWS. The following are the questions

Purpose of Survey

The purpose of this question is to determine if there is an interest amongst staff and students at UWS to get involved with the UWSMUG and if so in what ways can they contribute.

Results

Due to the statistically insignificant number of votes much of the data cannot be relied on. However based on what I did receive our average user is highly skilled and experienced Mac users. They are also keen to contribute to UWSMUG.

Purpose of Survey

The purpose of this question is to determine if staff and students at UWS are having any problems using the UWSMUG site and if so let me know in what areas they are having problems. The survey also provides the ability for users to provide input on what changes need to be made.

Results

The main issue raised was the need for more content, otherwise the answers very much agreed with how I had set up UWSMUG
